Although our local NHS audiology Dept does now supply some digital hearing aids, there is a considerable delay from referral to fitting, in some cases up to 2 years. Whilst some of the digital hearing aids supplied by the NHS are similar to those available privately, we have a much wider and more highly sophisticated range that includes the very small completely in-the-canal type and new ‘open ear fitting systems’
